I love photographs that don’t look like photographs. I have always enjoyed manipulating the emulsion of film to create painterly images. This process was something that I missed about digital photography. Recently, I found that I could achieve the same look of my earlier explorations with emulsion augmentation.

My photographs are dreamlike and painterly in nature and in this form my work is not only a document of time, but a summoner of the imagination.
